"Speak up" program boosting gender diversity in STEM

A tech employer has joined an elite group of companies recognised for their gender diversity, after doubling down on supporting women over the past three years.

Symbio chief people experience officer Cathy Doyle says the company recently received Ellect's four-star certification for gender diversity, equity, and inclusion – a major goal it had been working towards.

"The Ellect badge has really legitimised the journey we've been on," she tells HR Daily.

"We started the Women@Symbio program four years ago when we had an all-male board. We've now got a female chair and another two female board members..."
