Small initiatives harness "inclusive as a way of being"

After reviewing its policies to embed inclusiveness, an employer's workforce has more visibility and voice, and much higher engagement with workplace initiatives, its people leader says.

Fujitsu has been doing "a lot of work around the policy piece" and building in "explicit inclusiveness", says VP, purpose, people and culture Nicole Forrester.

"What's different from last year is we're really focusing on creating that culture that says, these are not just policies, this is our way of being. Inclusive as a way of being."

Fujitsu's engagement score jumped from 63% in June 2021 to 68% in June 2022, she tells HR Daily...
