Six organisational redesign pitfalls and how to avoid them

When conducted well, organisational redesigns motivate people and drive substantial value, but too often, they're undertaken for the wrong reasons, change experts say.

"The best reasons to change organisation structure are because the environment and/or the strategy have changed – for example to introduce a new line of business, or because significant cost reduction is needed," says Nous Group principal Greg Joffe.
