Restraints ordered against employees' anti-vax "advocate"

The Federal Court has restrained a non-legal representative from communicating with three major employers on behalf of unvaccinated workers, finding his emails have become "progressively more aggressive" and threatening.

In two proceedings before the Court, 18 former Virgin and Jetstar employees claim they are entitled to damages for employment contract and enterprise agreement breaches, after they were required to receive COVID-19 vaccinations and subsequently sacked for failing to comply.

While the employees claim they are not legally represented, self-proclaimed 'pro bono advocate and UN observer/reporter', Glenn Floyd, has prepared a number of documents for the cases.

Earlier this month, Virgin, Jetstar and Qantas (which was also party to the proceedings) sought orders restraining each employee from causing Floyd to communicate with the employers themselves, their employees or their lawyers. They also sought orders restraining Floyd from such communications...
