Post-employment announcements can constitute solicitation

Depending on an employee's role and contacts, a LinkedIn post about starting a new role can constitute a breach of their post-employment obligations, a workplace lawyer says.

Before social media, it might have been difficult to get evidence of somebody breaching their restraints, but activity on platforms like LinkedIn is hard to hide, Squire Patton Boggs partner Nicola Martin tells HR Daily.
