Positive work relationships "vital" for employees' mental health

Positive work relationships are crucial to employees' mental health, but many people are now struggling to build meaningful connections with their colleagues, says a psychologist.

Only three in five Australians (60%) have favourable relationships with their co-workers, Telus Health clinical wellness director for APAC Rose Zaffino says, based on the company's latest mental health index.

But this group reports lower mental health risks, compared to those without work friendships.
