Non-disclosure agreements can help harassment survivors and shouldn't be outlawed, but some "no-brainer" protections are needed, a conflict expert says.
The Victoria Government is among those exploring legislation to restrict the use of NDAs after a ministerial taskforce on workplace sexual harassment found they are often misused to silence victims.
But Ombpoint managing director Lindall West says outlawing NDAs could disempower victim-survivors.
