"Most challenging employee" was unfairly sacked

A sacked worker who was described by superiors as their "single most challenging employee" has won nearly $24k in compensation.

In October 2020, Western Sydney Local Health District terminated the finance business support officer's employment, without notice or payment in lieu, after concluding he had repudiated his employment contract.

The employee subsequently sought reinstatement and compensation for unfair dismissal and victimisation.
