Kellogg employees driving hybrid work framework

Kellogg is reporting record engagement scores and feedback that exceeded its expectations, after allowing employees to drive its approach to hybrid working and office returns, its HR leader says.

Kellogg underwent a cultural shift in leadership when new ANZ MD Anthony Holme joined at the start of 2022, which human resources senior director Brett Mortensen describes as a "meeting of the minds".

The company was already working towards a "human-centred leaders" approach, shifting its focus to health, wellbeing and growth initiatives for its employees, Mortensen tells HR Daily.

This included a decentralised approach to decision-making across the organisation, designed to empower employees to have open-door conversations and communicate with higher-ups in a transparent and 'non-threatening' way...
