Hybrid working calls for more attitude-based hiring

Hybrid working has made hiring for attitude more important than ever, so it's time to elevate soft skills and values-matching to a higher priority in recruitment processes, the leader of an HR tech company says.

Some organisations still approach hiring for soft skills – such as attitude and cultural fit – as "a bit of an afterthought", says Compono CEO Trent Innes.

But in a remote or hybrid workforce, a new hire's attitude and their compatibility with company values is a crucial factor, he tells HR Daily.
