HR "slow off the mark" with AI; time to embrace FOMO

Less than 40% of Australian HR leaders have been using or have firm plans to adopt generative AI tools, new research shows, and the remainder now risk being "left behind".

While the percentage of HR leaders who are using or considering gen-AI technology has increased to 38%, from 19% in June last year, HR continues to lag behind other functions, according to Gartner HR practice vice president Aaron McEwan.
