Holistic EX metrics a "key differentiator" for 2023

The fact that employee experience is stagnating means a more holistic approach for 2023 is needed, an industry specialist says.

There's a "concerning disconnect" between the experience of employees at different levels in organisations, according to the Qualtrics 2023 employee experience trends report, released today and involving nearly 29,000 working individuals across 27 countries (including 2,400 from Australia and New Zealand).

Its findings include that:

  • more than half (55%) of senior and executive leaders say their expectations at work are met, compared to a third (33%) of manager- and junior-level employees;
  • managers and junior-level employees report lower levels of wellbeing (54% vs 63%), engagement (66% vs 79%), inclusion (71% vs 78%) and intent to stay (54% vs 63%) than their leaders...
