Four leadership behaviours create "glue" in hybrid teams

The single most impactful thing hybrid leaders can do is to create "glue" in workplaces, by "sticking together, bonding and fusing talented people", a leadership expert says.

Leadership is not about leaders; employees are the "real beneficiaries" of leadership efforts, impact and influence, says London Business School director and author John Dore.

In his new book Glue: transforming leadership in a hybrid world, Dore says a leader's most important job is creating "glue", but this requires a different leadership approach, and demands a "peculiar combination of behaviours, which are rarely exhibited".
