Employees in 'adaptive workplace' trial returning to office faster

Employees involved in an 'adaptive workplace' pilot have returned to the office at twice the rate of those in traditional workspaces, a new report shows.

Mirvac launched its 'adaptive workplace' pilot last year, designing the space to accommodate five employee 'personas' (office-based; hybrid; in/out; site-based; and 'freedom').

During the first six months, 1,000 employees rotated throughout the space set up at Mirvac's Sydney headquarters, and attendance levels rose by 40%.

Now, in a report analysing these outcomes, Mirvac says allowing employees to "curate" their space might be the key to attracting them back to offices...
