Employee's "peace offering" was attempt to intimidate: FWC

An employee who was disgruntled about his employer's COVID vaccination directions was fairly sacked after intimidating and harassing his colleagues.

In October last year New Horizons implemented a COVID-19 policy that required some employees to be vaccinated.

The case worker subsequently told a colleague he was going to "take all management down" and leave them white feathers to represent their cowardice. He also said that everyone who got a booster shot would die, and that management "were all going to pay in some form".

In November he sent multiple emails to management, critiquing the decision to mandate COVID-19 vaccination for employees in his job classification. He also sent an email to a large number of colleagues, stating his days were "numbered" because he'd chosen not to be coerced into getting vaccinated...
