Data-first strategies critical in tight talent market

The future of HR is data-led, but there's still a big gap between the importance HR leaders place on this area and their capability to deliver a data-first strategy, a talent leader says.

Where 70% of organisations know data-first strategies are critical, only 21% of HR leaders believe their organisation uses data effectively to inform decision-making, says Accenture ANZ managing director of talent and organisation Tenielle Colussi, referring to Gartner research.

And only 12% of HR leaders believe they are getting the results they expected, she says.
