CHRO referred to police for allegedly falsifying documents

A chief HR officer has been referred to police over allegations he fabricated documents to support an enterprise agreement's approval.

Last month, the United Workers' Union won its appeal against the approval of the Hot Wok Food Makers Pty Ltd Workplace Agreement, after a full bench found none of the four managers who voted on the EA were covered by it.

The bench found the managers' approval of the agreement "was entirely lacking in authenticity and moral authority"; the EA was intended to apply to a "large number" of workers who didn't have the opportunity to agree to its terms...
