AI to be a gamechanger for performance and DEI data

HR professionals are far more fearful of AI than they should be, according to an expert who says it holds enormous potential for removing bias from performance management, and will be a gamechanger for diversity and inclusion.

With a background in talent assessment, ManpowerGroup's chief innovation officer, Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, tells HR Daily he first became interested in AI as a "potential evolution of assessment to help us understand somebody's skills, interests, the values they have [and] whether they will fit into the [company's] culture".

Chamorro-Premuzic was also intrigued by whether these tools could be used to "finally" decrease the impact of human intuition and biases on hiring and promotion decisions...
