Virtual meetings a major 'pain point' for flexible work
New Microsoft research has identified key challenges to hybrid work success, with the organisation setting "etiquette" guidelines for its virtual meetings to address some of them.
According to Microsoft's annual Work Trend Index, published today, meetings are consuming a "lion's share" of employees' time, with time spent attending Teams meetings increasing by 252% since February 2020.
As a result, employees' top flexibility pain point is having too many meetings, while the second is a loss of focus or energy due to back-to-back meetings...
