Unfair dismissal decisions that "stuck out" in 2022

The Fair Work Commission has dealt with a wide range of topics in unfair dismissal cases this year, from bullying, harassment and other misconduct, to health conditions and vaccinations, but some have "stuck out", employment lawyers say.

Employees made 13,000 unfair dismissal applications in the 2022 financial year, and this number isn't likely to change "that much" over the next 12 months, HWL Ebsworth partner Brad Swebeck and senior associate Lily Schafer-Gardiner say in a new HR Daily Premium webcast.
