Great Resignation commentary has exacerbated instances of talent attending interviews they have no intention of accepting jobs for, prompting the need for an "ethics reboot" on both sides, a recruiter turned branding expert says.
Many employees are applying for roles and accepting interviews in order to leverage a counter-offer or promotion from their current employer, says communications specialist Sue Parker, of Dare Group Australia.
This is evident from a recent LinkedIn poll, which highlighted the extent of these practices.
