Organisations benefit from HR "acceleration" during uncertainty

It's time for HR to "break away" from its tendency to move more slowly during uncertain times, a workplace strategy expert says.

Too many HR professionals get stuck in a "holding pattern", when waiting to hear from their CFO "feels like the right thing to do", Gartner advisory director Robin Boomer tells a new HR Daily Premium webcast.

However, he explains, "while there is a tendency to reduce investments and go slower through those situations where there is a blind turn and we don't know what's ahead, that is actually where better-performing organisations break away from their competitors by continuing to invest, but in more targeted and the most critical projects and talent requirements"...
