In a move that takes transparency to a new level, a professional services firm has released details of its workplace complaints over the past year and how they've been handled.
This is the second year of KPMG's 'impact' reporting, and it has included a new purpose, values and culture topic in its 'people' pillar, alongside employee engagement and experience; inclusion, diversity and equity; employee wellbeing; and continuous learning.
KPMG CEO Andrew Yates says he is proud of the company's progress in the 2022 financial year, but also acknowledges areas for improvement.
"These include work on our cultural diversity target... and ensuring more people feel comfortable 'speaking up' when something isn't right. The key to advancing in these areas will be honesty, rigour, and holding ourselves to account..."
