"Offended" employee denied stop-SH order

Regardless of finding it "offensive" that the success of her s-xual harassment complaint hinged on her employment status, a former employee has been denied the stop-SH orders she sought.

The employee applied for a stop sexual harassment order against OF Resource Recovery and its warehouse manager, however the employer objected on the basis the employee had resigned in July and therefore she was no longer at risk of any alleged sexual harassment.

During a mention hearing, Commissioner Tim Lee expressed a preliminary view that the employee's application had no reasonable prospects of success, and said he would determine the issue "on the papers"...
