New employees taking longer to reach productivity: research

The average time it takes for a new employee to become productive is now 35 days in Australia, up from 24 last year, research shows.

There could be several different reasons as to why this time has "increased considerably", according to Elmo's 2024 HR Industry Benchmark Report.
