"Nefarious" employer didn't force worker to resign

An employee has failed to convince the Fair Work Commission that her employer changed an internal review process after she complained about her superior, so that she would be forced to resign.

In June 2021, immediately after completing her social work degree, the child protection worker was employed as a family intervention practitioner by St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland. This role required her to follow up child protection concerns by visiting the homes of families, and to submit written reports to Child Safety Queensland after they had been reviewed by a senior manager.

In August last year, the worker spoke to her employer about how her senior manager had behaved during a trip to Melbourne. This then led to a meeting with a state manager to discuss her concerns...
