HR can't ignore cyber risks, "velocity of change will be ongoing"

Cyber-related risks are rising exponentially, and a security expert has identified some emerging areas that directly impact HR functions.

According to Lockton cyber practice leader Mark Luckin, this year presents an opportunity "or perhaps more realistically, a requirement" for employers to understand and invest in mitigating cyber-security risk.

In a new paper on cyber predictions, Luckin says organisations needn't be "targeted" to suffer – as demonstrated by "increasingly indiscriminate" attacks on vulnerable software, vendors and supply chains...
