Under new laws introduced to limit the use of fixed-term contracts, it will be crucial for employers to overcome some practical compliance obstacles, a workplace lawyer says.
The changes fall under the 'Secure Jobs, Better Pay' reforms that passed through Parliament late last year, but the fixed-term contract amendments are set to take effect later in 2023, King & Wood Mallesons senior consultant Brett Feltham tells a new HR Daily Premium webcast.
