Atlassian discovers sweet spot of 'intentional gatherings' for team connection
Atlassian says it has found the optimal number of times it needs to bring together distributed workers to build lasting feelings of connection.
Describing its Team Anywhere approach as "one of the biggest bets Atlassian has made in our 20-year history", co-founders and co-CEOs Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar admit they "didn't, and still don't, have all the answers".
"We are experimenting with how to foster cohesion, support new graduates, and keep teams humming effectively across time zones," they say in the foreword of Atlassian's report on its distributed work experience...
