Peak performance lies between "burn out" and "rust out"

Under-challenged employees can "rust out" if employers don't take action to make them feel more motivated and engaged with work, a leadership specialist warns.

Dr Brenda Jamnik tells HR Daily that like unused metal, under-utilised workers can "rust out", a term she coined to describe the opposite of "burn out".
