"Fit" questions stay relevant throughout employee lifecycle

The conversations about culture, values, and work styles that employers ask at the recruitment stage should continue throughout the employment lifecycle, a workplace advisor says.

From the outset, if employers ask candidates more questions when hiring them, all parties "will be experiencing that recruitment process a whole lot better", says Talentpath director Jody Fazldeen.

Earlier this year, her organisation developed a deck of 50 cards to help recruiters and HR guide these conversations, covering four key areas: work, culture, values, and reward.
