Case study: Taking a "ground up" approach to wellbeing

An employer that stopped "pushing" wellbeing activities and allowed employees to choose their approach is reporting significant uptake and health improvements.

IT services company DXC Technology opted to use a digital ecosystem that features videos, podcasts and masterclasses, and which is anchored by five pillars, says director Michael Neary.

Hosted by Springday, the approach includes a new campaign based on a different pillar each month, which gamify wellness to make it "fun" and boost engagement.

After tracking an increase in program participation as well as health and wellbeing improvements (such as better sleep and reduced stress levels) in its insurance team pilot group, DXC is working on rolling it out across the company, says Neary...
