Four leading companies have established "golden rituals" that not only streamline team-based projects, but improve their workplace cultures, a collaboration specialist says.
These rituals are recognisable in that they are named, known to every employee by the end of their first week, and follow a template, Coda founder and CEO Shishir Mehrotra told Atlassian's recent Team '22 event.
(He attributes the term to global investor and advisor Bing Gordon.)
After interviewing more than 1,000 teams and leaders, each with "their own version of these stories to tell", Mehrotra says some of the top golden rituals create a common language, "focus on finding the right question", and invite employees to take charge of career development...
